Tree surgery can be necessary at a number of times and in a number of circumstances; to ensure the safety of the tree and surrounding properties, allowing more light onto your property as well as surrounding areas, improving the overall aesthetic appearance of the tree as well as ensuring and promoting the general health of the tree itself.

All our advice is guided first and foremost by using straight forward common sense. We consider your requirements, the conservational element and essentially what would be best for your tree / trees. We are very conscious of our effect on the local wildlife, for example nesting birds. We always factor in the welfare and best care for any animals, whether in the actual tree or surrounding areas.

We will always give genuine, honest advice and never recommend larger work if we do not deem it appropriate. Ensuring that you have a positive experience as well as the best care possible for your tree / trees is genuinely of the upmost importance to us. Whether it is dismantling / felling, reducing, thinning or lifting your trees, possibly returning a hedge to its former glory, we have the experience and equipment to complete the job to the highest standards. Your tree may have a tree preservation order placed on it, or be situated in a conservation area. These are issues that we are more than happy to advise on and assist with.

The wood and chipping from the work can be removed or left on site depending on your preference as well as timber being cut to size. Whatever you are looking for from the job we will do our very best to deliver.

SERVICES OFFERED

Tree Removal / Felling / Dismantle

Safe dismantle and removal of a tree, whilst not always ideal it may be required. Whether the tree is in decline, possibly affecting and damaging other properties or casting considerable shade onto areas of your property that could benefit with extra light, we can assist in this area.

Crown Thinning

This procedure allows not just more light into the tree and surrounding areas without effecting the overall original shape but also reduces the weight within the crown as well as limbs. It also allows wind to pass through the tree therefore reducing the stress effect that has on the canopy.

Crown Reduction

This procedure essentially reduces the canopy in a sympathetic and measured manner in order to maintain the original shape of the tree. The pruning procedure is vitally important so that the actual cuts promote better regrowth and encourage the tree to remain a more manageable size and shape for a longer period of time.

Crown Lift

This procedure allows the overall shape of the tree to remain the same but opens up space and light towards the bottom of the canopy. Maybe you have a footpath or drive that would benefit from some extra headroom, this could possibly be the best approach.

Pollarding

This procedure is aimed at reducing regrowth back to an original point on a tree therefore maintaining the original size of the trunk and larger limbs. Through time with a managed process this can lead to a balanced and pleasing crown as well as preserving the longevity of a mature tree.

Planting Trees / Hedges

It's not just working to reduce or fell trees that we have a passion for, replanting is a vital and cherished part of our business. We offer advice as well as planting of trees and shrubs in your property. We can help with what species would work well in certain areas as well as possibly giving you ideas to enhance your gardens overall appearance.

Stump Grinding

If you are looking to remove a stump entirely from your property we can offer a service where you will be able to re-use the area where the tree originally stood.

Hedge Maintenance

Whether you are looking for a yearly trim, a substantial reduction or possibly advice on whether to plant a deciduous or non deciduous hedge line, we have the experience and ability to help and guide. Hedge lines offer natural boundary lines as well as happy homes to a wide variety of wildlife, if looked after or cultivated they can bring a great deal to your property.

Tree Preservation / Conservation Area advice
